How does the lens of the magnifiers and microscopes make objects larger just by having a convex and transparent lens?

Convex lenses cause light to focus in on the focal point, making it larger.

Atoms are made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons. These determine the charge an atom has, its mass, and a whole array of other qualities. These can be further divided into elementary, or fundamental particles. These are called subatomic particles because they are smaller than atoms. They do not follow the rules of classical physics, but instead follow the strange quantum world.
